Mr. Hauptmann’s Class Newsletter
November 5, 2012 Unit 2, Week 1

This week we are reading “What Jo Did” by Charles R. Smith Jr.  We will focus on some vocabulary words in this story.  It would be helpful if you will reinforce the meaning of these words at home with your child.  Also, on this newsletter you will find our spelling words for the week.  Please practice these words at home as well.  The words in italics are our challenge spelling words. We will be going on a field trip to Hyannis on Wednesday to see the Cape Cod Symphony perform. Please see details below. Let’s have a great week!

Important Dates and Upcoming Events:

Tuesday, November 6: NO SCHOOL

Wednesday, November 7: All 4th grade classes will be attending the upcoming Young People’s Concert @ 11:15 AM at the Barnstable Performing Arts Center located at Barnstable High School. We will return in time for our regular lunch and recess. Please dress accordingly.
