Mr. Hauptmann’s Class Newsletter
November 13, 2012- Unit 2, Week 2

This week we are reading “Coyote School News” by Joan Sandin.  We will focus on some vocabulary words in this story.  It would be helpful if you will reinforce the meaning of these words at home with your child.  Also, on this newsletter you will find our spelling words for the week.  Please practice these words at home as well.  The words in italics are our challenge spelling words.  Let’s have a great week!

Spelling Words: potatoes, themselves, leaves, halves, moose, radios, beliefs, patios, tornadoes, tomatoes, portfolios, embargoes, handkerchiefs, calves, lassoes

Important Reminder: Next Tuesday, November 20, is our 4th Grade Foods from Around the World Celebration, from 12:00-1:10pm. Recipes need to be turned in by this Thursday.
