This week we will be focusing on
building our Gingerbread monuments with students from Mrs. Karl/Mele’s and Mrs.
Perdiz-Cash’s classes. If you would like to volunteer this week to help with the
construction process, please send in a note and let me know which day you can
help out. We will be building each day from 1:45-3:00pm. We will also be
finishing up Unit 2 in Reading this week and taking the benchmark test on
Wednesday and Thursday. Let’s have a great week!
I
want to take this time to thank those of you who have volunteered in our
classroom and school this year. I also appreciate all the support each of you
has given your child, because of you we have had a successful start to the
school year. Parents and guardians are a child’s first and most important
teacher, and you are a crucial part of our school community. I am thankful for
the opportunity to work with your children each day, and am proud of their
progress so far. I hope that you are enjoying this holiday season and are able
to relax and spend time with your families over vacation.
