Unit 5, Week 3- May 19, 2014
I am very proud of everyone’s focus
and determination during our MCAS testing last week. It is always nice to be
finished with those tests, but remember that we still have over a month of school
left, and lots of work to do! Ask your child how they are doing on their state
research project and map. This week we are reading “Amelia and Eleanor Go for a
Ride” by Pam Munoz Ryan. Let’s have a
great week!

Tomorrow (Tuesday, May 20) we will be going on a
field-trip to the Cape Cod Canal Visitor’s Center (no bikes). We will be having
a picnic lunch that day at the Visitor’s Center, so students will need to bring
a lunch from home (or order a lunch from the cafeteria by Monday). We will be
leaving around 9:30am and returning by 2:15pm. Thanks!
