Unit 3, Week 6- February 25, 2013

This week we will listen to, read, and write, various forms of poetry. If you have a favorite poem or book of poetry from home, you may bring it in to share with the class.  We will focus on reviewing some of the vocabulary words from Unit 3.  Our spelling words for the week are 4th grade level science words, as well as previous vocabulary words.  Please practice these words at home as well.  Let’s have a great week!

Spelling Words:  fragile, natural, mountain, adaptation, camouflage, hibernate, predator, biologist, massive, tropical, brilliant, chorus, destruction, forecasts, canopy, fragrant

The students in 4th grade have been working hard on completing their science projects. All experiments are now done, and students are typing up their results, conclusions, and reflections. We will be spending a great amount of time these next two days compiling data and organizing  presentation boards.

The 35th Falmouth Science Fair is this Saturday, March 2 and the FHS Field House.
If you want to enter your science project in the High School Science Fair it is NOT too late, but you need to register by 3:00pm on Tuesday.

Go to http://www.falmouth.k12.ma.us/pages/Falmouth_Public_Schools to register online. It only takes 2 minutes to sign up. Extra-credit will be given to any student who enters their project and goes to the science fair on Saturday.
