Mr. Hauptmann’s Class Newsletter
November 26, 2012- Unit 2, Week 3
I
hope everyone is refreshed after our Thanksgiving break. I would like to thank
all the wonderful volunteers who helped make our Food Festival such a great
day! We couldn’t have done it without you! Reminder:
The Ancestor Projects are due this Wednesday, November 28. This week we are
reading “Grace and the Time Machine”, a play written by Mary Hoffman, adapted
for story theater by Donald Abramson. We
will focus on some vocabulary words in this story. It would be helpful if you will reinforce the
meaning of these words at home with your child.
Also, on this newsletter you will find our spelling words for the week. Please practice these words at home as
well. The words in italics are our
challenge spelling words. Let’s have a
great week!
